A great day had today even with a bit of high water. We fished the lower shannon and even with the high water seemed to fish well and with good fish caught. Mike Kiely got 5 fish of club boat which did not count as it was a bank competition and Hannah O Donnell had 1 which was her 1st ever pike well done Hannah
Our league table has jumped a fare bit as well. Noel Hayes landed another fine fish at 8lb 8oz today to stretch his lead on the table to 34lb, Darragh Williams has jumped the table to 2nd with 26lb with 2 fish today a 12lb7oz and 3lb and just piping his dad Tommy who sits 3rd on or table at 19lb11oz who also landed 2 fish today an 8lb02oz and a 6lb12oz.
Just to keep the side up Tommy grandson and Darraghs nephew james moore mand to get himself onto the junior table and finished 2nd with a nice fish of 5lb12oz but could not take the top as young jack kiely got a smashing 13lb fish which was best fish today.
I can see a big turn out from the williams household at the awards night, if they keep going the be taking a lot of prizes on the night.
