Limerick And District Anglers Association committee members with Senator Kieran O Donnell in IFI office today discussing the opening of the lower Shannon to salmon angling for the coming season. Sadly the outcome is not looking good for the salmon anglers of Limerick for 2019 with management holding ground on keeping the river closed.
We now have to bring our case to the Minister with the support of Senator Kieran O Donnell.
Regarding Kieran O Donnell, he has stuck with us from day one on the closure of the lower Shannon to salmon fishing in the fight to getting Anglers back on the river. His support for the club is greatly appreciated and hopefully when he needs our support as in votes we show him the support he deserves.
